November 24, 1967 — January 7, 2022

William Eugene “Bill” Coblentz, 54, of Benton, departed this life peacefully on Friday, January 7, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on November 24, 1967, in Johnson City, Tennessee to Charles T. and Connie Stobaugh Coblentz.  Throughout life, Bill learned at an early age his passion for being outdoors.  A few of his fondest memories include spending countless hours kayaking the rivers and riding his Harley-Davidson on the many hills and curves our area offers.  A graduate of Bradley Central High School, Class of 1986, Bill furthered his career as a dedicated and professional health care worker at Tennova Healthcare in Cleveland.  Bill was a faithful family man and loved spending time with each one, especially his cherished grandchildren.  A friend to many, he was loved dearly by a host of friends, neighbors, and colleagues, to whom will deeply miss him.

Bill was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harold and Martha Coblentz; maternal grandparents, William and Janet Stobaugh; uncles, Dan Coblentz and Bob Coblentz.

Left to cherish the many memories include his beloved children, William Thomas Coblentz and Amber Elizabeth Coblentz; loving parents, Charles and Connie Stobaugh Coblentz ; sister, Martha (David) Lawson; cherished grandchildren, Annabel Coblentz, Haven Brooks, Aria Coblentz, Evelyn Coblentz, and Oliver Coblentz; nephews, Michael (Jennifer) Lawson and Matthew Lawson.  Numerous extended family members, colleagues, and a host of friends also survive.

A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.

The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude and appreciation to Ms. Cynthia Bush and Scott Farley for their blessings of love with care.
