Tammy G. Pike, 57, of Benton, departed this life peacefully on August 18, 2024, with her family at her side.
She was born on February 4, 1967, in Cleveland, to James and Dianne Elrod Earwood. Throughout life, Ms. Tammy was affectionately known for her kindness and love that she had for her family and friends. A few of her fondest memories included the countless fishing and hunting trips with her husband, along with spending every moment possible to be with her grandchildren. She was loved by all who had the blessing of knowing her and will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Orin and Margaret Elrod, one uncle, David Elrod; and her beloved four-legged companion, Opie.
Left to cherish the many memories include her loving husband, Sammy Pike; children, Justin (Brooke) Hewitt, and Jeremy (Casey) Hewitt; step-children, Justin (Jessie) Pike, and Joshua (Tammy) Pike; parents, James and Dianne Elrod Earwood; grandchildren, Easton Hewitt, Brantley Duckett, and Mallory Hewitt; step-grandchildren, River Pike, Brooke Pike, Summer Pike, Timber Pike, Landry Pike, Levi Pike, and Emberlee Stiles; one brother, Jamie Earwood; one sister, Cindy (Gordon) Guthrie; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2024, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Isom officiating. Interment will follow at Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery, with Justin Hewitt, Jeremy Hewitt, Jamie Earwood, Nathan Earwood, Phillip Rymer, and Tim Rymer. Honorary pallbearers will be William Oltz, Jody Elrod, and Brantley Duckett.
Family and friends will gather from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
