Ruby Bradford

Ruby Bradford, 84 of Benton, TN gained her heavenly wings on Friday, September 11, 2020 after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family.

Ruby was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking breakfast every morning (including her famous lard biscuits). She also loved yard selling, canning, shopping, church, and spending time with friends and family.

Ruby is preceded in death by her loving husband, Bobby Bradford of 54 years, parents, Edgar Trentham, Della & Roy Woody, sisters, Sue Pankey and Mildred Nelms, brother, JM Trentham, granddaughter, Addrienne Ledford.

Ruby is survived by her four children, Sandy (Eddie) Rice, Sharon (Rodney) Rogers, Kim Bradford, Charlie (Cathy) Bradford; her siblings, Dewey Trentham, Pat Matyas, Carrol McPherson, Donna Smith, Diane Womac, Eddie Trentham, Greg Trentham, Dennis Trentham and Kenneth Trentham; nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson and a host of family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her special friends, Dorothy Burris, Sherry Waldrop, Sharee Allen, Frances Bishop, and Pat Stewart.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Pastor David Qualls and Reverend Robby Hatcher officiating.  Interment will follow at Benton Memorial Gardens with family serving as pallbearers.

Her family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 14, 2020 and from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
