Raydelle Corvin

Raydelle Corvin, 74, a resident of Benton, departed this life on October 29, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on July 27, 1947, in Cleveland, to the late Eli and Ruth Jenkins Corvin.  Throughout life, Raydelle developed a true passion for the outdoors.  A talented and skilled brick mason for many years, he always had a strong work ethic and always took care of his family.  He loved to run his rabbit beagles and cherished the many fishing trips with his brother-in-law.  His family was the most important in life and some of the most memorable of times came from sitting around, cooking on the fire.  He loved his family and neighbors dearly and will be missed by all who was blessed to have known him.

In addition to his parents, Eli and Ruth Corvin, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Fraizer and Charlotte Waters; one brother, Lake Corvin; his beloved mother-in-law, Ruth Seay, who he loved dearly.

Left to cherish the many memories include his beloved wife of 44  years, Mary Seay Corvin; loving children, Johnny Corvin, Jody Corvin, Scott Corvin and Chris “Mouth” Corvin; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Carly Corvin; sisters, Evelyn DeFriese, Joe Musselwhite, Sue Brown, Martha Swafford, and Twyla McAmis; special sisters-in-law, Brenda Seay and Linda “Tootie” Keith; dear friend, Lucille Wooten. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends also survive.

A Celebration of Life graveside service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Benton Memorial Gardens with Pastor Chad Maxwell and Reverend Joel Jenkins officiating.  Johnny Seay, Anthony “Dude” Seay, Brian Seay, Seth McClary, Dylan Burgess, Devin Johnson, and Dibble McNabb will serve as pallbearers.
