Mildred Louise Cain, 59, of Cleveland, departed this life on October 29, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on September 25, 1962, to the late Tommie and Imogene Emerson Proctor. Ms. Louise spent her days in life raising her children, grandchildren, and every moment that she was able with her family. The evening hours of the day, generally consisted of making sure those she loved were taken care of, followed by enjoying Gunsmoke on television. She was deeply loved and will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
Left to cherish the many memories include her beloved children, Matt (Michaela Hancock) Cain, Mandy Hunter, Josh (Candis) Cain, Samantha Cain, Daniel (Tamara) Cain, and Dustin (Ashley) Cain; cherished grandchildren, Jasmin (Alex Hawkins) and Corbin Cain, Edwin and Heather Hunter, Cali and Carson Cain, Preslee, Brantley, and Tynslee Cain; Madison, Bentley, Makenna, and Benjamin Cain, Destina and Ashleigh Hancock, great-grandchild, Braylon Hawkins and expecting a Baby Boy; siblings, Debbie (Jerry) Helton, Buddy (Freda) Proctor, Norman (Darlene) Proctor, and Angie (Ricky) Moore. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends also survive.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Pastor Jeremy Daniels officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Cemetery with her family serving as pallbearers.
Friends and family will gather from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
