Kirk Derrick Wilson

Kirk Derrick Wilson, 48, a resident of Reliance, passed away July 17, 2019 at his residence.

He was a member of Archville Baptist Church and loved living in the mountain at his home in the Greasy Creek community.  Kirk loved his family and enjoyed working and being outdoors.  He will be missed by all.

Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his mother, Ellavee Wilson; grandparents, Eskel Owens and George and Martha Wilson.

Survivors include his loving wife, Vicki Wilson; children, Tim (Sara) Wilson and Tabitha Wilson and fiancé, Walter Massey; father, Winston Wilson; grandchildren, Joseph and Carmen Wilson, Katrina Massey; siblings, Amy (Mark) Tankersley, Chad (Krista) Wilson; grandmother, Edna Mae Owens; nephews, Jake and Jeremy Tankersley, Riley and Tyler Wilson. Several uncles, great uncles and great aunts also survive.

A memorial service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2019 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Wilfred Wright officiating.
