Justin Smasal

Justin Smasal, 39, of Benton, departed this life on Monday, November 1, 2021.

He was born on June 26, 1982, in Houston, Texas to Mike and Tina Smasal.  Throughout life, Justin had a passionate love for his family and friends.  He was a talented electrician by trade and enjoyed sushi, concerts, and music of all genres.  Justin developed a love for fishing at an early age and enjoyed spending his free time trying to reel in the catch of the day.  He had an unconditional love for his children and if you were blessed enough to have known him, then you knew what an amazing person he was.  Justin is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leonard and Margaret Fowler; paternal grandfather, Donald Smasal; cousin, Chad Pedigo; Kathryn Sprunk; and his four-legged buddy, Buddy.

Left to cherish the many memories include his wife, Sarah Smasal; parents, Mike and Tina Smasal; daughers, Kaydance and Summer Smasal; son, Keigen Smasal; brother, Jason (Abby) Smasal; sister, Jessica (Justin) Free; step-children, Makinsey Cross and Eli Self.  Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends also survive.

Friends and family will gather from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Higgins Funeral Home.
