Glenn Fox

Glenn Harold Fox, 76, of Delano, TN passed away peacefully on July 9, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born to the late Bowden and Thelma Norwood Fox on November 17, 1943 in Delano and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Glenn worked for the Tennessee Department of Transportation as a construction project supervisor for 44 ½ years and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by Herman, Billy, Jimmy, and Sandra Fox; Betty Culpepper; and in laws, Howard and Helen Scoggins.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years; Laverne Fox; children and spouses, Tim (Derana) Fox, Chris (Tracey) Fox, Lisa (Brad) Ramsey; grandchildren, Tera and Alyssa Fox, Matthew and Allyson Ramsey, Nicholas Fox, Brittany Cambell, and Grace Passaretti; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Bobby Fox, and Mae (David) Powell; brothers and sisters in laws, Mike (Sharon) Scoggins, Peggy Scoggins, Margie (Doyle) Crossley; several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, 2020 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Fox officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery with Tim Fox, Chris Fox, Matthew Ramsey, Nicholas Fox, Blake Cook, Mike Scoggins, and Victor Poteet serving as pallbearers.

His family will receive friends from 12:00- 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
