Glenda Kaye Shelton, 75, of Benton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 29, 2020.
She was born on June 9, 1945 to the late Charlie and Wilburn Juanita Shelton in Cleveland, Tennessee. Ms. Shelton worked for the United States Forest Service for 42 years and at Wal-Mart for 25 years. She was very generous and giving to others, never letting anyone go without. She was a classy and sassy woman who loved her family and will be missed by all.
Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Sue Prueitt
Survivors include her beloved family, Rhonnie Prueitt, Kenzle Shelton, Chad (Deirdre) Prueitt and John (Christy) Hardin; great-nieces, Tori Hardin, Emma Hardin and Cambree Prueitt; great-nephews, Gunner Prueitt, Wyatt Prueitt, Jackson Goodman, Brad (Crissy) Jenkins and Antheny (Julie) Jenkins; special friends, Daphne Milen, Jeanette Cochran, Jan Darden and Linda Culpepper.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 in the Fellowship Hall at Benton Station Baptist Church with Pastor Ryan Potts and Pastor Joel Jenkins officiating.
Her family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday prior to the service at the church.
