Corinne Songer McKeown

Corinne Frost Songer McKeown, 102, a resident of Benton, passed away July 6, 2019.

The daughter of the late Scott and Augusta Frost, she was born on August 19, 1916, in Sublette, Illinois. 

She was an active member and volunteer at Oswego Presbyterian Church and was very social with everyone with whom she came into contact.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Ms. McKeown was also preceded in death by her first husband, Richard P. Songer; second husband, Everett McKeown; son, Larry Songer; and sister, Eileen Belcher.

Survivors include her grandson, Steve (Joanne) Songer; three great-granddaughters, Kathryn Songer, Corinne Songer and Stephanie Songer; and her son Larry’s longtime companion, Marilyn Zevik.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at Morningside of Cleveland for their caring support during her residency there.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
