Carole Lillard Pirkle, 67, of Benton, departed this life peacefully on May 23, 2024, at a local hospital.
She was born on July 20, 1956, in Athens, Tennessee, to Dolores Payne and the late Abraham Lillard.
Throughout life, Ms. Carole faithfully served in the healthcare profession for 30 plus years, retiring in 2016.
She was an active and loyal member of Wetmore Baptist Church and loved flowers and spending time with her beloved family, church family, and friends. Loved by all, she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of having known her.
In addition to her father, Abraham Lillard, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Lillard.
Left to cherish the many memories include her loving husband, Ronnie Pirkle; two children, Jesse (Stacy) Dalton, and Jennifer (Tyler) Beard; mother, Dolores Payne Lillard; cherished grandchildren, Noah Dukes, Marshall Dukes, and Jack Beard; sister-in-law, Rhonda Lillard; nieces and nephew, Danielle (Seth) McClary, Cole (Amanda) Lillard, and Carson (Jordan) Van Delden.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Wetmore Baptist Church, with Pastor Will Vest officiating. Interment will follow at Benton Memorial Gardens, with Jesse Dalton, Tyler Beard, Seth McClary, Cole Lillard, Noah Dukes, and Marshall Dukes serving as pallbearers.
Family and friends will gather from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, prior to the service at the church.
