Betty Frances Culpepper

Betty Frances Fox Culpepper, age 70, a resident of Delano, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2006 in an Etowah healthcare facility. She was a member of Wetmore Baptist Church. She had been employed with the United States Post Office. Mrs. Culpepper was the daughter of the late Bowden and Thelma Norwood Fox and was also preceded in death by her husband, James Frank Culpepper, brother, Billy Fox, a granddaughter, Coleby Myers, a grandson, Frankie Laux.

She is survived by her children and spouses: Barry and Debbie Culpepper of Delano, and Jayme and Tracy Myers of Riceville; four granddaughters: Stee Blair, Gatlyn Myers, Karter Myers and Melissa Laux; great-grandson, Cody Laux; two sisters: May Powell and spouse, David Powell of Delano and Sandra Fox of Delano; four brothers and spouses: Herman and Betty Fox of Etowah, Jimmy Fox of Delano, Glen and Laverne Fox of Delano and Bobby Fox of Delano; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Reverend Ed Earl officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Church Cemetery in the Lindsdale Community with the white dove release ceremony concluding the service.

Her family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
