Mary Blanche Moats

Mary Blanche Baker Moats, 94, a resident of New Middletown, Ohio and a former resident of Polk County for fifty years, passed away Wednesday, MArch 9, 2011 in New Middletown, Ohio. She was a former employee of American Uniform in Cleveland, TN, Howard Johnson's in New Springfield, Ohio and Katherine's Stout Shop in Boardman, Ohio. She attended Bethel Friends Church in Poland, Ohio. Mrs. Moats was the daughter of the late Carl and Tennie Shoemaker Baker and was also preceded in death by her husband, William Moats; son-in-law ,William Kissinger, Sr.; sisters, Anna Belle Daughtery, Marie Brunet, Edith Phillips and Wilma Brown; brothers, Jim Baker and Carl Baker; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Hugh and Tennie Burris Moats. She is survived by her children and spouses: Nell and Barbara Moats of Tampa, Florida, Joyce Kissinger of New Middletown, Ohio, Dale and Sandy Moats of West Melbourne, Florida; grandchildren: Robert Moats, Sheri Walsh, Troy Bryant, Christine Bryant, Attorney William Kissinger and Angelica, Michelle Kissinger, Christopher Moats, Bethany Kulig and Kurt, and Scott Moats; great-grandchildren: Landon Campbell, Brianna Walsh, Jared Senvisky, Ashely Senvisky, Alalna Kissinger, III, Jayda Kulig and Brayden Kulig. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2011 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Reverend Hoyle Ellis officiating. Interment will follow in Chestuee Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
