Ogle James Ingram, 69, a resident of Reliance, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012, in a Chattanooga hospital. He proudly served his country in the Tennessee National Guard and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church where he served as Sunday School Superintendent. He was an active member of Reliance Masonic Lodge #636. He was a devoted husband, father and Papaw. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Regina Russell Ingram, and sister, Margaret Hembree. He is survived by his wife, Jackie Lewis Ingram of Reliance; daughter, Trina Ingram and friend Iva Franks of Cleveland; three sons: Mike Ingram and wife Missy of Benton, Jamie Ingram and wife Celina of Reliance, and Tracy Ingram and wife Amanda of Reliance; seven grandchildren: Keegan Ingram, Brooklyn Ingram, Madelyn Ingram, Callie Ingram, Cole Ingram, Jack Ingram and Jacob Shubert; four brothers: Thomas Ingram and wife Glenda, Leonard Ingram and wife Betty, Ray Ingram and wife Mary Helen, all of Etowah, and Clyde Ingram of Athens; one sister, Carolyn Rucker and husband Clayton of Etowah; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Pastor Lee Ingram and Reverend Bobby Green officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery with Vernon "Corky" Lewis, Larry Lewis, Ronnie Lewis, Jim Lewis, Floyd Taylor and Rodney Hicks serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include H.R. Lewis, Harold "Whitey" Ramsey and the members of the Men's Sunday School Class at Fairview Baptist Church. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
