Ruth Q. Allen, 75, of Benton, passed away Friday, November 16, 2012 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, G. C. Allen, parents Beeler and Ella Harris Qualls. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret and husband Don Colley of Brighton, TN and her grandson, Clay Raines, of Benton. A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 18, 2012 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home. The family will receive from 3-4 p.m. Sunday, November 18, 2012at the funeral home prior to the service..
