Danna Sue (Boo) Prueitt

Dana Sue (Boo) Prueitt, 64, of Benton, passed away Friday, April 19, 2013 in a Nashville hospital. She was a member of the Benton Station Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Shelton and Wilburn Juanita Hale Shelton. She is survived by her husband, Rhonnie Prueitt of Benton; children, Christy Hardin and husband, John of Benton and Chad Prueitt of Benton; grandchildren, Tore and Emma Hardin and Cambree Prueitt, all of Benton; sister, Kaye Shelton of Benton and some very special caregivers. Dana Sue is a graduate of Polk County High School and Mid-State Medical School in Nashville. She worked as a nurse in the medical field until her retirement in 2008. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Benton Station Baptist Church with the Reverend Joel Jenkins and the Reverend Ryan Potts officiating. Internment will follow in Old Ocoee Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2013 at Benton Station Baptist Church. The family requests that memorials be made to the, Benton Station Baptist Church Relay for Life team and the building fund, 909 Benton Station Rd, Benton, and TN 37307.
