Harold Clifton Ledford

Harold Clifton Ledford, Jr., 51, of Old Fort, went home to be with the Lord Friday, February 28, 2014 in a local hospital. He was a deacon of Calvary Church of God in Greasy Creek. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was employed by CG Roxane Water Company in Benton. Harold is survived by his wife, Juanita (Anita) Ledford of Old Fort; two daughters, Jennifer Ledford of Clarksville and Michelle Ledford of Cleveland; step-son, Daniel Wilcox of Old Fort; parents, Harold Sr. and Ruth Ledford of Old Fort; sister, Susan Speed and brother, Douglas Ledford, both of Old Fort. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Randy Bragg officiating. Interment will follow in Boanerges Baptist Church Cemetery with Shawn Ledford, Jerry Branham, Tim Rogers, Johnny Brown, Guillermo Perez, Robert Martin, Neil Jackson and Dillon Stiles serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Green and Jason Brown. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at the funeral home.
