Genora Jenkins

Genora Jenkins, 93, a resident of Delano, TN, passed away Monday, September 15, 2014 at her home. She was a member of Delano Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, H. B. Jenkins; son, Glenn Jenkins; parents, Ed and Cora Patterson; grandsons, Michael Ledford, Larry Jenkins II, Travis Jenkins; great grandson, Christopher Michael Brown; son-in-law, Joe Ledford; brothers, F.H. Patterson and R.A. Patterson; sisters, Irene Shelton, Annie Shelton, Stacy Nelms, and Katie Howard. She is survived by children, Betty Ledford, Bobby (Sula) Jenkins, Larry (Darla) Jenkins, Vickie (Lynn) Bryan, Gloria (Bob) Johnson all of Delano, TN; grandchildren, Jason (Laura) Jenkins, Burt (Leslie) Jenkins, Robert (Stacy) Combs, Coby (Shelby) Johnson, Roxanne (Gerald) Frazier, Rita Plemmons, Ginger (Chris) Brown, Amy (Eby) Garwood, Allen Johnson; 12 great grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Will Jenkins of Delano, TN and Ray Howard of Tyrone, GA; sisters-in-law, Mildred Patterson and Esther Patterson; several nieces and nephews also survive; and special Hospice aid, Janet Corn. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at Delano Baptist Church with Dr. Johnny Powers and Reverend Robert Combs officiating. Interment will follow in Delano Cemetery. Pallbeares; Robert Combs, Coby Johnson, Burt Jenkins, Jason Jenkins, Tanner Plemmons, and Chris Brown.
