She is survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan College. She was a very active and dedicated member of Benton Station Baptist Church from childhood; a church that she always loved. She loved to reconnect and visit with all of her former students. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Organization, Ocoee Eastern Star, Benton Garden Club, and Polk County Historical Society. She and Earl enjoyed many nice travels after retirement.
