Bill Ledwell

Bill Ledwell, 75, went to be with the Lord on May 12, 2015 at his home in Benton, TN. He loved "tinkering" with his cars. He was much loved by family and friends and will greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father Fred Ledwell and mother Jessie Ricker; infant daughter, Denise Ledwell; sisters, Irma Jones, Cindy Ledwell, Elaine Hamby; brother, Horace Ledwell. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Johnnie Sue Ledwell; eight children, Kevin and Katrina Ledwell of Ohio, Anthony and Sheena Ledwell of Cleveland, TN, Vonda and Juan Henandez of Corpus Christi, TX, Regina Churchill, Chandra Ellis, Schonna and Melvin Maust, Krista Schott, Rhonda Ledwell all of Ohio; step-daughters, Rebecca Cass and Michelle Runyon, both of Cleveland, TN; step-sons, Kevin and Debbie Key and Jeff Harrod both of Cleveland; sisters, Glenda and Chuck Taylor of Cleveland, TN, Janie and Jimmy Ball of Old Fort, TN, and Patty and Robert Taylor of Cleveland, TN; brother, John and Pat Ledwell of Nashville, TN; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other extended family members also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Lowell Hicks officiating. Interment will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 15, 2015 in Oak Gove Baptist Church Cemetery. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2015 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home prior to the service.
