Mavis Ward

Mavis A. Ward, 72, of Benton, TN passed away Friday, March 3, 2017 at a healthcare facility in Spring City, TN.  She loved to spend time with her family and friends, her church and travel. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harrison and Naomi Hamby Johnson.   

She is survived by her children, Jill (Buddy) Swafford, Jeff (Michelle) Ward and Kiley Ward all of Benton, TN; grandchildren, Russ Swafford, Logan Swafford, Dylan Ward, Dustin Ward; great grandchild, Pierce Swafford. 

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Oak Grove Cemetery with Reverend Charles Cheatham officiating.  A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
