Bill Blackwell

A native of the Oak Grove community in Benton, Blackwell graduated from Polk County High School. While in high school, Bill worked part-time for the previous owners of Higgins Funeral Home. He is an active member of First Baptist Church and is involved with the Ocoee Lodge 112. Bill was employed for 32 years with Volunteer Electric Cooperative and has been married to his wife Sally for over 40 years. They have two daughters, Lynn Woody and Leighanne Burgner and have four grandchildren.
