W.C. (Bill) Painter, 72, of Benton, TN, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010, at his son's residence. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Frances Whittemore Painter; parents, Emmitt and Ethel Poteet Painter; and brother, Glenn Painter.
He is survived by his sons; Kenneth Bryan Painter and wife Cynthia Diane of Cleveland; Marquis Anthony Painter and wife Theresa of Benton, TN; sister, Susan White of Dalton, GA; and 4 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with the Reverend Clyde Painter officiating with military honors.
His family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
